Newmont’s Crying The Blues
April 30, 2023 — It’s a nice change, though not intended, to have our foals arrive a little later than usual this year! Our first arrival on February 25th was a stunning filly out of SSLLC Victoria’s Secret (Minion Millennium x Arboria Victor’s Pride, by Arboria Noble Victor), the first foal we’ve had by our home bred champion, Newmont’s Legend. We think Newmont’s Secret Treasure isn’t going to be a secret for very long!
And landing in the beautiful straw early in the morning on April 29th was Newmont’s Crying The Blues, a big, elegant colt by World Champion Leonardo’s Cry CH, out of our own Newmont’s Lucille Ball, a Minion Millennium daughter. He was just a little overcooked, but he is here for the party now!
