2013 Chestnut Mare | We purchased Boxford Magdelina in foal to SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH and loved this filly so much, we bred her back at the next opportunity and the result was the very lovely Newmont’s Pretty Please, who we are leasing back from Daniel Shrock to show this year.
We had an offer we couldn’t refuse on Touch Of Class when she was just a weanling, so we sold her and hoped we could breed her dam back to Present Tense. Of course, Pretty Please was so fancy, we ended up relinquishing her to another anxious buyer! So it was fate that brought us back together with this lovely young daughter of the late, great World Champion Park Harness and Saddle horse, SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH.
She has traveled a long road home, and we are rekindling our love of this game, beautiful young mare and will see how she comes along. Her pedigree is rich in the blood of some of the breed’s most illustrious breeding horses, including the great producer MyBlue Heaven, timeless sire Cedar CreekHarlequin and the great show horse and WC producer Nobelle. Even if she never sees the inside of a show ring, we expect she will leave her mark on the breed.
