Newmont’s Lucille Ball

2012 Chestnut Mare | We’re thrilled that Paula Messier allowed us to return this wonderful mare to our farm to fill the shoes of her dam, who was retired from our select broodmare collection after producing her last foal, the promising youngster Newmont’s Momentum (by Pondview Tres Bien) in 2018. In 2021, she produced a very fancy colt by WC SYP High Definition GCH,  Newmont’s Desi Arnez.

Lucy made her show ring debut as the Reserve Grand Champion in the Morgan Weanling Gala, then earned top ribbons at the Morgan Grand National as a yearling. She is a maternal sister to champions CBMF Street Heat, CBMF Slow Burn CH, and Newmont’s Ivy League.

Her 2022 edition was the flamboyant and charismatic Newmont’s Prince Harry, sired by King-E Otto B (Mizrahi x Valley Acres Scarlett). In 2023, she produced an outstanding bay colt by Leonardo’s Cry CH, Newmont’s Crying The Blues. Sadly, we lost this lovely colt in a tragic accident in 2024.

SHE’S HERE! Our 2025 filly by HOLLYWOOD GODFATHER CH (BMM Enchanted Spirit x JPO Antoinette). Meet Newmont’s DesiLu!
