Bee and Marianne were stars at the recent Syracuse International, winning their Morgan Walk-Trot Saddle Seat Equitation 11 & Under qualifier, then turning in a flawless ride for the tricolors in the Morgan Walk-Trot Saddle Seat Equitation 11 & Under Championship! We couldn’t be more thrilled with the progress this new team has made this year and we’re so excited to plan for her debut at New England in a few weeks.

2017 Bay Mare | One of our latest acquisitions, this well bred mare comes from the Hall of Fame breeding program of Lynn Peeples. She has many performance wins to her credit and she is double Tug Hill Celebrity, which should add a splash of spirit to her offspring.
The bottom side of her pedigree goes back to the great park saddle horse, San-Kay’s All A-Glow who was a force in the mid-atlantic area for many years for his wildly extravagant natural trot. Her grandsire, Nonesuch Fire N Fury, enjoyed a long show career spanning divisions that included prominent wins in hand, park saddle, park harness, pleasure driving, and most successfully as a roadster, including a Reserve World Championship.
We hope she will bring her family’s trotting history to our Newmont breeding program, but meanwhile, she is doing the very important job of teaching our granddaughter, Bee, how to ride! Bee and “Marianne” are best buds and are blossoming toward the walk-trot division under the direction of Luman Wadhams Stables. Bee and Marianne are all geared up for their first appearance at the historic New England Regional Morgan Horse Show at Northampton this month!
