June 18, 2025 — We are thrilled to congratulate Anika Spinks of Edmond, Oklahoma on her selection of the beautiful redhead NEWMONT’S COVER GIRL (CRD Bugatti x ALB Starry Night, by Liberation First Star). This 3YO mare is out of the dam of World Champions NEWMONT’S GET REAL and NEWMONT’S CAPTIVATOR, and she’s World Morgan Futurity nominated, so we know where they have their sights set on! Annika first spotted this jewel as a weanling, and has been following her progress for three years. We’re so happy she finally got her girl! The lucky new trainer is Garn Walker, no stranger to victory passes.
Cover Girl has been enjoying the beautiful Ocala, Florida weather with World Champion western pleasure trainer Rick Gervasio for a few months, and we appreciate Rick’s outstanding work bringing this girl along, and recognizing her potential.
